In Contramaestre, some 12 members of the Association of Economists and Accountants of Cuba, ANEC, make up the delegation that for this territory will take part in the Ninth Provincial Assembly of the organization, to be held on February 21, 2024 in the City Hero of the Republic, Santiago de Cuba.
In a meeting prior to the event, the delegation representing the more than 467 ANEC members from Contramaestre, in addition to expressing their high commitment to contribute to the Cuban Social Economic Development Strategy, stated that their participation in the Assembly will enable them to be within reach of an appropriate space to strengthen their knowledge and role in support of the Cuban government’s measures to correct distortions and boost the economy.
The meeting also finalized the details of the contributions, in the field of economic sciences and research, that Contramaestre economists will make to the provincial assembly and their decision to remain committed minute by minute to the improvement of the Cuban economy.
According to Rafael Cala Machiran, president of the Municipal Executive Council of ANEC in this eastern part of the country, “our delegates reaffirm their willingness to strengthen the interest to contribute the maximum of their professional potential for the economic development of the country, as a guarantee of the continuity and irreversibility of our socialism.
