Universe of dreams and fantasies

Children: A universe of dreams and fantasies

There is no happy day without their smile and there is no greater worry than their cry. They can easily turn our world upside down and paralyze any work, no matter how important it may be.

For a child, imagination will always be an open door. They try out to be doctors without having studied at university, they become teachers, cooks, artists or imitate mom and dad.

Their happiness is full when they dress up or when they sing a song to a doll, or when they fervently believe that their scribbling on paper is a symbol of the sun, a dog or a house.

Sleeplessness is a constant state, with touches of startle. For them, order is a utopia, as they never cease to surprise their mischief with toys, crayons and whatever objects are within their reach.

Resized art is their specialty. They sing and dance at will and demand applause, regardless of preference. Mural painting is another talent, exhibiting their dream drawings, preferably on the walls at home.

Child fantasies

A hundred times children are reprimanded and they don’t care, the name is not wasted either, it’s a fact. The ingenious answers and paternal juggling conjugate daily to not lose their sanity and to give free rein to that world of chimera, visible in that universe of dreams and fantasies.

These small details are happiness for a child. Living these experiences, sharing with them that world we were once part of, makes the heart bloom, revives the soul.

Having their rights to life, survival and development guaranteed, respect for their opinion and non-discrimination, are all good things that a Cuba gives to its children, who are teachers that come to teach us with their actions and emotions; they are a guide for our awakening.
