Contramaestre started pensions with an increase

Everything has been arranged in Contramaestre for some 14 thousand 300 pensioners, be favored with the partial increase of their pensions, after the Cuban government announced this benefit for retired people, in practice from the August 20 with payment advanced corresponding to September 2025.

The measure allows benefitting in Contramaestre 94 percent of pensioners included either in the general regimen or especial regimens of Social Security, with an increase for those retired for age, for invalidity, and due to death ( widows, widowers, orphan and with pensionable parents.)

The pensioners of the general regimen who get between 2 472 and 3 999 pesos monthly they will see enlarged their pension to catch up with the 4 thousand pesos.

Referring to the pensions due to death, the increase is calculated on the quantity got distributed among the beneficiaries, in accordance with what’s disposed in the Law 105 of Social Security, 2008.

As part of this measure arranged by the government Cuban, the pensioners with over a pension, they will receive the increment on the quantity of the unified pension – expression of social justice.

To say of Miguel Pérez García, official in the Municipal Management of Labor and Social Security of Contramaestre, all organizational measures to accompany the process of payment, forseeing that beneficiaries receive have arranged the totality of the quantities taken into account with this increment of the pensions themselves.

Pérez García added than level he has intentions to monitor the daily parade of the task a command post at the own seat of the Subsidiary of Social Security of municipality. ¨Everything will have the attendance of the social workers in the different points of payment and from the banking institutions themselves so that everything flow without setbacks.
