Given the current scenarios of illegalities, the issue of the sale of liquefied gas regulated in Contramaestre urges a will and decision to bring order, to ensure the legality of the marketing of such a demanded product, and the control of public spaces to achieve what we all know as balitas (gas tanks).
The situation, very worrying in Contramaestre, has generated these days a social alarm that questions the job of workers belonging to Gas Liquefied Petroleum of the municipality and the conduct of many unscrupulous people that in troubled waters, profit for a few.
The panorama in the territory is not far from the national reality, due to financing problems because of the complex situation to make the payments as a consequence of the US blockade, leaving in the people who benefit from this domestic fuel a very bitter taste that is a disdain for the essence of the concepts of Cuban socialism.
The questionings since last November 30 and up to today, adjusted to the shortage and need for liquefied gas, result in the confrontation of an evil that has spread like a terminal illness, without any solution that favors the people appearing so far.
The caste created to promote illegality, also manifested in certain corruption, is in vogue these days outside the liquefied gas commercialization house, located in América Libre district.
In the first place, the disobedience to the term of priority of pending customers from previous purchases was not taken into account, since initially only one queue was indicated on both sidewalks outside the entity under an administrative strategy of triage of pending cases for the sale of the balita (the gas tank), which evidences the subjectivity in a selection to access the product.
Another of the realities experienced there, was the phenomenon of the coleros (those who join the line to sell their turn, whose faces are distributed numbers to sell at 1,000, 1,500 and even 2,000 pesos for turns in the queue, regardless of people of respect who did take care of their order of arrival, subject to bad nights, rains and annoying blackouts.
In Contramaestre, it is also palpable in the informal market the sale of a full bullet that has had a value of up to 10,000 pesos, whose promotion in digital platforms does not deny the origin of a resource that is only guaranteed by Unión Cuba Petróleo, coming out of a subway market with prices from another planet and at free will without anyone wondering where those little bullets filled with liquefied gas come from.
Not to mention the presence of a protection corps to organize and demand respect in those queues, nor an administrative official, nor a representative of the Integral Supervision Directorate, so that the disorder manifested there, translates into a social indiscipline that has not been controlled by the representatives of the aforementioned Cupet commercial house in Contramaestre.
According to many people, the lack of restraint has unleashed into tumultuous fights, theft of small bullets, obscene words, shouting, offenses to the system and the municipality’s cadres, without the appearance of institutional responsibility, which does act in such cases in exceptional circumstances.
According to journalistic considerations on the sale of regulated liquefied gas that these days takes place in the municipality, Contramaestre is present in the commercialization of bullets with lack of lawfulness, control and order, which deserves will and decision to correct such distortions.
In other words, it is necessary to put character to the confrontation to stop the uncontrolled illegality, because in troubled river profit for a few, which translates into a permanent havoc in the pocket of the Contramaestrians.
