Social workers: Army that heals the soul

To give nothing for lost is the premise of an Army of the Social workers, that heals the soul, of those souls that fight against adversities to find solutions.

Touching the hearts of people in need, with sensitivity and commitment, with passion and dedication, is the strength of these germinating seeds of the common good, of these participatory subjects that advocate progressive emancipation.

This army of humanist vocation, which helps to grow in life, is synonymous of positive change close to the people of the neighborhood, of solidary hands that defend equal opportunities, that shelter the spiritual development of the citizens of a country.

Her work is not waiting in the office, it is a field occupation, of inquiry and analysis of each family context in urban and rural communities, where children, young people and adults categorized as vulnerable, demand social attention.

Not giving any person for lost, was the call of Fidel, Father of the Program, in defense of human development, to raise the culture of his people, to guarantee educational and employment policies.

The value and transcendence of these “builders of society” in the face of new challenges, transcends in today’s Cuba, where the competence of social workers is the balm that relieves pain, is the encouragement that assists the wound, is the way to a better quality of life.

Bastions of the Revolution of changes and hope, it is this force delivered to the soul of society, which has as a shield the sensitivity to multiply joys in the environment, to build hearts that demand mediators protagonists of the flame of the transforming spirit.
