The First Secretary of the Party in Santiago de Cuba, José Ramon Monteagudo Ruiz exchanged on the crop field with authorities of the municipality of Contramaestre and directors of the agro-industrial company América Libre , in charged of food production, on the main actions to be prioritized in the first stages of the cold planting stage.
He insisted on the need to work with quality, from the preparation of the soils to the attention to the plantations, so that the yields increase exponentially, with an optimal use of the available resources, an aspect to which the Governor of the province, Beatriz Jonhson Urrutia, also present during the visit, referred.
At a time when in Contramaestre the sowing of viands and vegetables is intensifying, taking advantage of the humidity of the soils and irrigation in those places where it has been guaranteed, Monteagudo Ruiz called to take advantage of the ideal moment to fulfill the commitments and seal as many areas as possible to make this a stage superior to the previous one.
