With the analysis of the 176 economic transformation measures taking effect nationwide, the municipality of Contramaestre held a plenary session of its local Party committee, demonstrating that “we are happy here” despite existing difficulties and that we face adversity with revolutionary resolve. The meeting was chaired by Beatriz Johnson Urrutia, First Secretary of the Party in the province of Santiago de Cuba.
The conclusions were presented by Annia Poblador Serguera, a member of the Provincial Party Bureau, who, among other points of interest, stated:
“We must emerge convinced that these transformations are essential to saving the Revolution. We must prepare diligently and change our mindset; everyone must be involved in this task, especially the younger generations, so that the people continue to trust their Party and their government, and so that Contramaestre becomes an example in this endeavor.”
