Abundant rainfall has fallen during the month of June in the municipality of Contramaestre in Santiago, which has influenced the favorable behavior of the sowing corresponding to the current spring campaign.

Regarding land preparation, the territory has more than one thousand hectares ready out of the fifteen thousand two hundred and three point seven planned. None of the cooperatives are behind in this task. It is worth mentioning that only the deficit in the delivery of fuel has had an impact, which has caused the farmers to look for alternatives to guarantee this task. This element has been recognized by the representatives of the territory.
On the other hand, the collection of food, grains and vegetables is another aspect that is supervised by the productive sector, so that of a plan of three thousand two hundred and thirty-nine point one tons, more than four thousand eight hundred and seventy-eight tons have been collected so far.
