Agricultural and livestock fair is being prepared in Contramaestre for Mother’s Day

Contramaestre Agricultural and Livestock Fair on Saturdays

The agricultural sector will be present on Saturday, May 11 at the fair to be held in the municipality of Contramaestre on the occasion of Mother’s Day celebrations.

This same commercialization event will also be held in the Popular Councils of Baire, América, Maffo and Los Negros. The event will be supported by entities and organizations of these territories.

In a press conference recently broadcast by Radio Grito de Baire, the Deputy Mayor in charge of agriculture and livestock, Osmany García Gé, said that in the case of the People’s Council of Los Negros, the entity responsible for agricultural supplies will be the coffee company, in Baire the Empresa Agroindustrial América Libre as well as in the demarcation of Maffo and in the case of América, the sugar company.

The agricultural and commercial fair will be held on Camilo Cienfuegos Avenue, one of the main arteries of the city, which allows organization and visibility of the products on offer.

As for the location of the agricultural sector, it will be located from the special education institution Manuel Galán with the 14 productive structures in charge of supplying the different agricultural products. According to García Gé, this service must be in accordance with the purchasing power of the population. The prices, he also said, must not be speculative or affect the inhabitants attending the fair. The agricultural sector is preparing for this day other offers of interest to the population such as processed food and flower sales.

The Vice Mayor also said that Acopio en el territorio will be responsible for supplying each of the markets in the Contramaestrian town for this jornada, which is organized to meet the demand of the population that seeks to pay homage to the being that gives us life.
