In the municipality of Contramaestre, the distribution of the basic family food basket for the month of March began. The operation is carried out based on the availability of food resources in warehouses. The current inventory does not allow the completion of the quantities per person planned, nor does it allow reaching all commercial areas at the same time, however, the commercial workers in that territory continue to work full time.
In the warehouses belonging to the Empresa Mayorista Provincial de Alimentos located in the municipality of Contramaestre, they are working hard to begin the distribution of part of the basic food basket for the month of March.
At this moment, the oil from the warehouses that did not receive it in the previous month is being completed. In February, distribution was favorable compared to previous months.
The municipality of Contramaestre has not been able to meet all the demand for fluid milk, although 47 rural warehouses receive the product, benefiting 1,684 children.
As is tradition in this sector, the workers are willing to guarantee the continuity of the distribution of the basic food basket as soon as the conditions are created.
