Broadcasters, voices that nourish the soul

World Radio Day celebrated in Contramaestre- broadcaster

Broadcasters wake us up every morning, catch us, make us dream, make us fall in love. Their words vibrate with warmth in those encounters in homes, in workplaces, in the hearts of our listeners.

Behind the traces and missions of a better communication, this vocation that is carried in the soul, has its own stamp, its personal mark, becoming accomplices of time and life.

It is this profession, which shades the programs of radio stations and television channels through a microphone, which gallops in joyful troop, leaving us images that do not fade to remain in the memory of all.

As true icons of oral expression, artists with sensitivity and goldsmiths of the voice, men and women are described in Cuba with the responsibility to inform, guide and educate, to establish a family with legitimacy and pride.

Symbol of identity, is undoubtedly the voices of our radio house, whose generation has not had to ask permission to be part of our lives, to offer us a reality with ethics and respect.

Paco, a merit broadcaster

Francisco Miranda (Paco) and Elizabeth Bueno, the first to arrive at the GB sound; Yannié Méndez and Yunia García with peculiar empathies with their audiences; Ricardo Chacón and Adelis del Toro, deep in their words and with distinctive nuances; and Joannis Figueredo and Ada Helen Arzuaga, with good diction and technical knowledge, group those professionals that your Boatswain’s Mate admires forever.

With a note of nostalgia for their absence from Radio Grito de Baire, Abel Rosales and Idania Fajardo; Angel Batista and Dairis Avila; Yadmila Fajardo and Elizabeth Bueno, broadcasters who fill spaces and hearts with their timbre.

Perhaps when we listen to them we imagine how they are and we fall in love with their voices, and although many times reality does not coincide with our fantasies, we accept the circumstance without disappointment, because the announcers are the living essence that ennoble the soul.

To these broadcasters with their own voice, diverse stories and unlimited commitment… Congratulations.
