“… We are preparing for the beginning of the school year, our teachers as of the last letter issued by the Minister of Education, Naima Arianna begin their preparation in the institutions on August 30, with a readjustment that has been made in the massive vacations at national level. We are ensuring a group of necessary issues such as the issue of pencils, notebooks, informing that they are already in our municipality to begin the first quarter of the school year, of course with the adjusted norm according to the grades and educational levels, the amount that is assigned to each student. Regarding textbooks also take the measures, we are working with the same bibliography of a few years ago and therefore the state of these books is not so new, the books are being repaired. Summer courses have been held this month with 12th grade students, in preparation for the entrance exams, with very good attendance, which shows us the commitment and preparation that our students are carrying out for this final stretch”.

Despite the difficulties the Cuban people face, and the shortages the world economic crisis and the US blockade provoke to the national economy, the government has been able to allocate the necessary indispensable resources to begin the 2023-2024 school year without affecting the learning process of any child or student at any level.
