Cuban teachers have the responsibility to educate the new generations that precede them after more than 60 years of Revolution with a free education and with proven results worldwide.
It is no secret that Cuban teachers deserve all the support we can give them, for it is no secret that every day they face a difficult profession in even more complex conditions.
Every day is a new challenge that they face and generally at the end they achieve the well-deserved victory.
Cuban teachers challenge the reality
They never stop preparing and they do it under extreme shortages, lacking pencils, pens, notebooks, methodological documents and other necessary tools, even so, education continues.
They have their personal problems and forget them when they arrive at school, they keep their home problems, their children’s problems and education continues.
Hours of sleeplessness, continuous preparation, incessant search, creative initiatives, creation of teaching aids with minimum resources… mark the day to day of Cuban educators. This new course for them is a challenge but they have the parents and the Revolution, the security and confidence that they are worthy of their time and owners of their present and future in a socialist Cuba that recognizes their efforts.
