A new robotics project aimed at children and adolescents is being prepared.

A new robotics project aimed at children and adolescents is being prepared as part of the activities developed during the Joven Club for Cuba campaign. The initiative will take place in Laguna Blanca District in Contramaestre municipality.

The first stage of the project involves a first approach by students to the field of robotics and its operation, as well as the advantages it can bring in everyday tasks, especially in the context of agriculture and food production, they are the main economic branch of that locality..

Alennis Chávez Alarcón, instructor of the project, comments that it is necessary to involve our children in a world as novel and popular worldwide as robotics. For her part, Maribel Castillo Aroche, director of the Joven Club in the municipality added that in this process, the Joven Clubs have a role of training and accompaniment.

This project will enable children and adolescents to enter one of the world’s most innovative fields of research, which is also an enriching experience for their vocational training. Exchange with trainers and active participation is the most effective way of providing this knowledge once workshops have started..
