Contramaestre municipality received a high audit led by deputies of the Cuban Parliament, as part of the constitutional mandate attributed by the Tenth Legislature of the Cuban State’s supreme governing body.
This type of verification, exchange and formal exercise was another opportunity for Contramaestre to promote the fulfillment of the functions and tasks of an organization with a high social impact, such as the water resources sector.
Deputy Ander Coloma Oduardo, vice-president of the Parliamentary Commission of Industry, Construction and Energy, emphasized the need of these times, which require progress in science, technology and innovation programs in order to promote the development of the economic-social infrastructure that will result in the wellbeing of the inhabitants from the municipalities.
The delegation paid special attention to the fact that Contramaestre is able to insert itself in projects that respond to the development of the hydraulic sector with the participation of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment, CITMA, of the province of Santiago, in order to attend and solve plans that emanate from the population with respect to the service of water supply and distribution in the communities.
Ander Coloma also referred to projections for the installation of a biodigester and a solar panel in the genetic company “El Alcazar”. He also urged the 13 popular councils of this jurisdiction to continue promoting integrated community work.
The exercise also included the verification of other indispensable objectives in the economic and social life of the locality, such as the new improvement of the education system and the maternal care program, among other programs.
