In Contramaestre at the present time the confrontation against presumed criminal figures is a matter of first order for the integral direction of supervision, the municipal group of fight against crime and other entities of the society that take part in the actions in which this battle is framed.
The national government has clearly called to intensify the fight against crime, corruption and social indiscipline, in addition to a constant fight against the figures that are typified as tax evaders and others who ignore the requirements of the banking system based on the legal norms established in this regard.
In this matter, it is worth mentioning that in Contramaestre, at the end of the first quarter of 2024, the inspection department carried out more than one thousand inspections, detecting 1061 centers with violations and the same number of offenders, and was required to apply 250 warnings and impose fines on all the offenders, which amounted to more than one million pesos.
The most frequent violations were related to Decrees 30 261 and 45 referring to price lists and in store, means of transportation and self-employment, which resulted in 47 temporary suspensions of the license and 49 cancellations due to non-compliance with the provisions of the regulations to carry out the activity within the non-state sector.
Several causes have incidence in the detected manifestations such as the lack of Revolutionary vigilance, of the opportune presence of leaders at the base, insufficient fight against corruption and illegalities, ignorance of what is stipulated by law, as well as bad use of methods and leadership styles in the fight against this scourge.
Other causes were also identified, such as the lack of consolidation of the actions of the peasant patrols for the protection of the livestock mass and productions, a very recurrent issue in this territory when evaluating the behavior revealed by the theft and slaughter of livestock, particularly in the private sector.
