The Food Industry UEB is made up of 23 unions, a union that in recent times has been engaged in fulfilling the production plans.
In this regard, Amaury Cabrera Álvarez, director of UEB, said that the delivery of this recognition is a source of pride for us because at the same time it commits us to continue working to achieve an integral company. This is an element that we have proposed because it is true that the production plans, the efficiency indicators are important to be fulfilled, but the rest of the tasks of the political, union and mass organizations must also be part of the operation of the entities. And in this sense we have been working, we were able to pay the finances and MTT of the year in salute to the Food Industry Workers’ Day, a commitment that we achieved one hundred percent, we had an outstanding participation in the May 1st parade, we visited hospitals, homes for the elderly; that is to say that we have carried out a group of activities that have resulted in this recognition.
The UEB Alimentaria de Contramaestre is closing the sixth month of the year with more than eight million pesos of profits in spite of the shortage of raw material due to the complex economic situation that the country is going through. For this purpose, different alternatives have been implemented with the objective that the sector maintains its vitality, as well as carrying out strategies to maintain its workers in each job and that they are not affected by labor interruptions.
The sector is also engaged in the fulfillment of the economic plan in salute to July 26th.
