July is translated for Cubans into a month of glorious memory of the Revolution, where Martí resurfaces to be the light of a man whose greatness is eternal, to illuminate a leader accompanied by a generation that set out on the road to freedom.
How much sacrifice breathes history; how many sacred causes the Homeland evokes, how many principles and values are defended thanks to a month of 26, of Moncada, of resurrection.
Cuba does not deny its battle on the road to victory, much less does it lay down its ideological weapons before those who try to take away its destiny; its way of life.
We relentlessly undertake each dawn with a prow towards resistance and perseverance, because socialism is synonymous with justice, peace, generosity and love, which we will defend with the spirit of July 26th.
July 11 will not return
In the face of destabilizing attempts, the Island is growing, the people founds and works, grows, multiplies. And as their trials have not helped, the revolutionary roots remain firm, perfecting the legacy of the Greatest Father, of a unique Fidel.
Let it be known that enemy wickedness has no support in Cuba, that continuity is not demagogy and that the defense of our conquests is not an empty slogan, but the firmness of a people that resists, defending its streets from the daring of the opponents.
That same people is the one that refuses to indecorum, to impunity, to make the tranquility of the citizenry prevail and the just claim that Homeland is freedom.
Although times are hard, together we will be able to overcome adversities with a vision of the future and a spirit of transformation, with creative resistance and hope, because thanks to a 26th of July, we have a Revolution.
