Summer with Love is the slogan that has accompanied the current season, and has made a difference compared to recent years in the Bungo-La Venta district in the municipality of Contramaestre.
The vacation period has developed with limitations due to the economic situation of the country caused by the world economic crisis and the US blockade on Cuba, but it has not reduced the recreational proposals according to the potentialities and resources of the communities themselves.
In this rural district of Contramaestre, the intersectoral support has been essential for the development of various recreational activities for the enjoyment of the more than five thousand people who live there.
According to Daniel Méndez Rodríguez, president of the district, the closing of the summer is scheduled for September 31, 1 and 2 in the 71st district located in the community of Ventas de Casanova, Dap and Bungo 7.
