New healthcare professionals graduated in the municipality of Contramaestre, representing the various programs offered by the Medical Sciences Branch in this eastern region of Cuba.
The occasion was used to recognize outstanding students in each field, as well as those who received the gold medal and those who excelled in research and community outreach.
The cultural portion of the day featured performances by local artists affiliated with the House of Culture System and other artistic groups.
During the ceremony, the work of healthcare professionals was recognized as essential to collective well-being, and the new graduates were encouraged to fulfill their duties according to the humanist principles that have always characterized Cuban healthcare.
