Representatives from the Contramaestre municipality attended the “64th Anniversary Pioneer Assembly” which was attended by Yoelvis Suarez Zapata, First Secretary of the Party in the municipality, Manuel Rodríguez Alfaro, President of the Assembly of People’s Power and Adriana Álvarez Legrá, President of the Pioneer Organization in Santiago de Cuba, among other leaders.
Pioneers demanded the need to develop more educational and value formation activities, as well as the promotion of other initiatives that have traditionally encouraged the search for knowledge, such as contests and knowledge festivals.
The children from Contramaestrians did not escape the gaze and lively opinion of the children, from the indiscriminate felling of trees, the creation of micro dumps in cities and towns, as well as social discipline in general.
Delegates to the Assembly in the Province were selected at the meeting. The pioneer Amir Aguilar Tamayo, winner of the International Contest “Melifera Bees”, was also selected.
The First Secretary of the Party in Contramaestre Yoelvis Suárez Zapata expressed pride and satisfaction for the demonstration of commitment to the Homeland of the delegates to the Municipal Pioneer Assembly in Contramaestre, he spoke to them of great challenges in the construction of a better future and called on them not to lose faith and will to continue being the hope of Cuba and the world.
