The unstoppable slaughter

The unstoppable slaughter

Israel is heading towards the extermination of the Palestinian people through an unstoppable and indiscriminate slaughter including children, women and elderly, urban infrastructures (hospitals, schools, amusement parks).

Even though the world opinion has moved against Israeli massacre, the US government  has continue to support its satellite in the Middle East, which is has become its strong ally plying an important role in the geo-politics.

According to the United Nations, 477 out of 564 school buildings in Gaza had been directly hit or damaged as of 6 July, with more than a dozen targeted since.

Al-Taba’een school housed more 1,000 people – having recently received dozens of displaced people from the town of Beit Hanoun, after the Israeli army ordered them to leave their homes.

The building also served as a mosque and the Israeli strike hit during dawn prayers, witnesses said.

Jaafar Taha, a student who lives near the school, told the BBC the sound of the bombing was followed by screaming and noise.

“‘Save us, save us,’ they were screaming,” he said.

“The scene was horrific. There were body parts everywhere and blood covering the walls.”

Salim Oweis, spokesman for the UN children’s agency, Unicef, told the attack was “really outrageous”.

“All those schools are really packed with civilians, children, mothers and families, who are taking refuge in any empty space whether it’s a school or it’s a mosque, whatever it is, even in hospital yards.”

According to PL the Egyptian Foreign Ministry issued a statement condemning the Israeli Army’s attack on a school in the northern city of Gaza on Saturday, which left more than 100 dead and 150 wounded.

Such bombings represent “an unprecedented disregard for the provisions of international law and international humanitarian law,” it warned.

The Foreign Ministry called on the world to take a unified stand to protect the Palestinian people and end its neighbor’s attacks.

The ongoing commission of these large-scale crimes each time the mediators’ efforts to reach a ceasefire intensify is “conclusive evidence of the lack of political will on the Israeli side to end this brutal war,” it stressed.

The press release reiterated Cairo’s position to work to stop the war and increase the volume of humanitarian aid to that territory, which has been under fire for 10 months.

Apparently the Israeli government is not planning even to stop the killing of innocent people, showing its determination to wipe out Palestine. The peace-loving part of the world should unite and continue to demand Israel to stop the indiscriminate slaughter of children and innocent Palestinians.
