An important representation of the people of the municipality of Contramaestre, together with political and government authorities, led by Yoelvis Suárez Zapata, secretary of the Communist Party in Contramaestre, began the tribute to José Martí, the Apostle of the Independence of Cuba on his 171st birthday.
