The highest leadership of the government of Contramaestre in use of the powers conferred by Law 132, on the Organization and Functioning of the Municipal Assemblies of People’s Power, confirms that for this January 27, 2024 is convened in the territory, the realization of the Tenth ordinary session of this body corresponding to its Eighteenth term of office.
In unison with the summoning of delegates to the Government Assembly in this part of eastern Cuba, it is also announced the topics that will be open for analysis and debates, among which stand out: the accountability of the Municipal Administration Council on the fulfillment of the action plan to achieve Food Sovereignty, Food and Nutritional Security and the opinion that the Permanent Commission of Agro-Alimentary and Industrial Work will present on such a vital matter.
The Municipal House of Culture, “Isidro Iglesias del Rey”, after having gone through a long period of constructive repair, will be the chosen scenario to hold the Tenth Ordinary Session of the Municipal government of Contramaestre, starting at nine in the morning and with the presence of the delegates of districts and guests, representing the civil society and the administrations of the different sectors of the locality.
Other matters are included in the draft agenda foreseen for this government meeting, such as: decisions adopted by the president of the Assembly, analysis of the state of compliance with the agreements adopted in previous similar exchanges, rendering of the account of the district of Maffo-Moscu, as well as the proposal of the commission that will be in charge of ruling on the rendering of the account of the three deputies that this jurisdiction has before the National Parliament, such as Mayitsis del Toro Fonseca, Víctor Manuel Montesinos Rodríguez and José Angel Portal Miranda, Cuban Minister of Public Health.
