The government of the municipality of Contramaestre for the year 2024 strengthens the control actions over the new actors that boost the economy such as micro, small and medium enterprises, MSMEs.
In this regard, the vice-governor of the economy in Contramaestre, – chaired by Leydis Cuello Mayán, – works to implement in all MSMEs the automated accounting system for economic operations and issuance of financial statements.
The Tax Administration Office, ONAT, when supervising MSMEs revealed irregularities such as: obligations in high amounts of money left to contribute, low levels of income taxed on sales and non-compliance with the Social Security Contribution, as well as information indiscipline, among other negative incidences.
Contramaestre strengthens supervision
Such situations in Contramaestre, leads the local government, increase control and supervision actions to these economic actors to verify not only the veracity of their economic and financial operations, but also the functioning of their internal control, as provided by Resolution 60/2011 of the Comptroller General of the Republic.
Likewise, it is necessary to continue training and advising on the issue of price formation of products and services offered by MSMEs, as well as on the certification of the corresponding technical data sheets and cost sheets and the systematic follow-up of their compliance.
Local government of Contramaestre for the new stage: to organize the operation of the working system designed for the attention and control of the MSMEs economic actors, with the integral and responsible participation of the global organizations of the economy and the tax groups, in order to achieve a more effective evaluation of its operation as well as to contribute to encourage the use of the different payment gateways for all its operations.
