Chess once again made its way back into the heart of Contramaestre. A special event with 100 chessboards took place in Jesús Rabí Park, uniting players of all ages to honor the 100th anniversary of Fidel Castro Ruz’s birth.
We are reaffirming our dedication to follow his example and develop values that help bring the people closer together and build a stronger unity.
The event had well-known athletes from the town, like Yaquelin Suarez Bazán, Ramón Maturell, Mari Estela Rodríguez, and Pedro Rodríguez Mora.It also included children, adults, and even people who are blind.
