With the participation of the government structures, including those that exercise competence in the 13 popular councils of Contramaestre, the Second National Exercise of Prevention and confrontation to crime, corruption, illegalities and social indisciplines is being carried out.
Captain Nieiler López Borrero, Coordination and Support Officer of the National Revolutionary Police (PNT) in Contramaestre, told this press release, adding that the exercise is aimed at strengthening the mechanisms of control and confrontation.
From March 24 until March 29, multiple actions will be carried out in Contramaestre, which began with surveillance patrols in the communities together with the Committees for the Defense of the Revolution (CDR), in the popular councils with the highest incidence of crime.
On the other hand, according to Second Lieutenant Naslies Guerra Casanova, Information and Analysis Officer at the PNR Headquarters in the territory, in the early morning of March 25, actions were carried out in the population settlements of Bungo, Venta de Casanovas and Maffo, which will also be directed, during the week, to La Torcaza, Baire, Xavier, Los Pasos and Frank País.
The counting of the livestock mass, its control and the checking of the quality of the corrals for the care of the animals, are among the actions aimed at watching over the crime of cattle theft and slaughter, a crime with a high incidence in Contramaestre.
Captain Nieiler explained that in Contramaestre, the measures and actions to be implemented during the exercise of prevention and confrontation of crime, corruption, illegalities and social indiscipline, have as their essence to strengthen the actions of the different factors involved in the exercise for the prevention and confrontation of these phenomena that affect the tranquility of the citizens, security and internal order.
