The government of Contramaestre when approving in plenary session of the Municipal Assembly of People’s Power, the work purposes of the Local Administration Council for this 2023, revealed that the economy figures the cardinal objective for the period, in which it is projected to reach values for total net sales higher than 3 thousand 137 million pesos and to grow in relation to the year that concluded.
In this sense, it is a goal for the local administration to ensure compliance with the plans of the economy of the territory for greater economic sustainability based on the practice of principles relating to a better use of internal capacities, the achievement of the economic actors’ complimentarity, the dynamizing role of internal demand and the incentive for competitiveness.
Local economy to strengthen food production
The strengthening of food production, -in this eminently agricultural territory-, with a correct contracting and commercialization, which guarantees the path towards food sovereignty in the municipality as well as the efficient promotion of social programs in order to achieve a better quality of life for the population are also priority objectives for the government administration of Contramaestre in 2023.
Within the framework of the purposes agreed upon for this year, the challenge to promote the investment program, which for the local subordinate entities will have about 92 million pesos, and which includes actions in the field of sensitive sectors for the population such as housing, communal services, education, public health, culture, sports, among others, is added.
In the presence of Contramaestre’s governmental tasks, this 2023 imposes the strengthening of the Municipal Assembly of People’s Power to transform local economy reality, achieve a better service to the people, strengthen the work of the delegate, and the integrated community work, as well as improve the attention and solution of the population’s proposals and increase the popular controls in the production and services entities, among other matters.
