In salute to the 71st anniversary of the attack on the Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Céspedes Barracks, a Summer Camp is being held in the Santiago municipality of Contramaestre.
Coinciding with the date of the Moncada event and until Sunday, July 28, 26 outstanding young people are participating in the event. The mixed boarding school José Antonio Labrador Días was in charge of hosting this youth group. Generation that according to its time and characteristics shows its enthusiasm, continuity and commitment to the Revolution. The program includes visits to historical sites, economic and social entities.
The contribution of the young Contramaestrians to food production will be one of the activities that will be present in the three working jornada. In this sense, the cleaning of agricultural areas in the locality of Bungo, where the productive pole responsible for municipal self-sufficiency is located, will be one of the main actions of the communist youth of the southeastern territory.
The UJC, together with the Federation of High School Students (FEEM) and the Federation of University Students (FEU), has designed a broad program ranging from the productive to the recreational sphere.
A festival Con to’ pal Barrio in the community of La Anacahuita, located in the Popular Council of Pueblo Nuevo, four kilometers from the city of Contramaestre, will be the selected demarcation for the closing of the Summer Camp. Opportunity for Contramaestrian youths to interact with the inhabitants of the rural demarcation.
