The governmental commission that leads the prevention and social attention work in the territory, an activity that requires strengthening in each one of the popular councils, is projected with a more creative and sustained look in the search for solutions to the irregularities that mark the social economic environment of the communities in Contramaestre.
In view of this purpose, it is a priority to achieve the completion of the members that will be part of the Prevention Commission in each of the districts, as well as their attendance to the meetings that are planned in order to evaluate the insufficiencies and project solutions that will make the preventive work more effective in vulnerable sectors not only in the communities in transformation.
Furthermore, in Contramaestre, from now on, the representatives of the prevention groups should be trained as stated in the agreement 9151 that defines the organizations that integrate these groups at all levels and their functions and Law 132 about the organization and functioning of the Popular Power, counting with the consent of professionals knowledgeable in this matter from the university branch of the locality.
It is also necessary for the Culture organizations and INDER to plan and carry out activities in the 6 communities undergoing transformation and the inclusion of minor victims and Tarea Victoria. Also recurrent will be the proposal of local development projects that contribute to the welfare and transformation of social life in each demarcation in the face of the current impacts.
The Municipal Commission of Prevention in Contramaestre is integrated by representatives of Education, Public Health, Culture, MININT, INDER and the Labor Directorate with a total of 13 members from different entities to coordinate and propose the actions to be developed to make the life of the inhabitants more dynamic and bearable, whatever their age group may be.
At present, the most sustained work of a preventive and social attention nature falls on the groups corresponding to the districts of Baire, Guaninao, Maffo-Moscow, Los Pasos Xavier, Los Negros and America, while Ruta Martiana, Lumumba and Frank País require a greater protagonism.
