With love for work and an appreciable will to resist and win, the working class sectors of Contramaestre have joined the commitments undertaken to honor this July 26th, the 70th anniversary of the attack on the Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Céspedes Barracks, in Santiago de Cuba and Bayamo, respectively.
The inhabitants of Contramaestre’s commitment to the July 26th anniversary implies the creative effort of men and women who, defying various shortages and limitations, manage to materialize works with remodeling and rehabilitation actions in sensitive sectors such as education, housing, health, commerce, gastronomy and food, among others.
In this context, according to Maricel Hechavarria Gé, director of the municipal education department and in a press appearance before the local radio, this sector implements the teaching-productive strategy in the four polytechnic centers of the territory to cultivate values, love for work and favor the production of food and its chaining. The Casitas Infantiles are also created with an impact for the family and efforts are redoubled in the face of the challenge of surpassing the results of the entrance exams to higher education.
Contramaestre’s commitments
For Contramaestre the commitments contracted with the celebration of this July 26th have had their expression in raising decisive indicators for the economic and social improvement of the population despite the fact that indispensable physical items such as: production of milk, meat, eggs, exportable funds, among others could exhibit better results before the demands that the national economy currently puts and above all the demand of the people.
These days the work is intended to offer a touch of distinction to the city because the actions of painting, sanitation and decoration of the centers of production and services, the elevation of the quality in the offers that include the new economic actors, as well as the healthy recreation with the leadership of the direction of Sports and Culture are increased.
