For the workers of the Contramaestre Public Health sector, a year that was marked by multiple difficulties derived from the iron blockade imposed by the U.S. Empire is coming to an end.
However, they and especially the young people who make up this union, have known how to grow motivated by the victory of the youth that in the Sierra Maestra and in the plains led by Fidel, who is their guide in sacrifice, will, tenacity and revolutionary intransigence.
It has been and will continue to be well proven the leading role played by the young people from Contramaestre who work in public health in the midst of the current crisis that the sector is going through; but we cannot forget their efforts during the Covid-19 pandemic, to cite just one example.
In the different services attending to the population, in teaching, in internationalism, there is the example of hundreds of these young sons and daughters of this people who joined forces to put an end to the last Batista stronghold in the former BANFAI.
Nothing impresses the young doctors, nurses and others who provide their services in this sector, their constant battle in every task, their presence in every tribune says that victory is assured here.
To speak of the participation of this generation in the different programs of the Cuban Ministry of Public Health is to ratify that with them and their contribution, the future can continue to be made for the good and happiness of this country.
To our young people who are part of the public health guild, their hearts beat faster when they hear the injustices against the Palestinian people and they are paradigms for the more than 300 Base Committees of the Union of Young Communists, UJC, of Contramaestre and for all the youth who live in this town.
The new year, the 66th Anniversary of the Triumph of the Cuban Revolution, will witness the actions of the young people who work in the health sector; of the achievements that will come from the hands, the thinking and the actions of this youth that surely will not stop.
