Contramaestre health workers to salute July 26

The flagship public health institution in Contramaestre, a municipality in eastern Cuba, the Orlando Pantoja Tamayo General Teaching Hospital, inaugurated by our leader Fidel Castro Ruz on July 22, 1988, is about to celebrate its birthday and its staff is striving to provide quality care to the people who arrive there seeking medical attention and thus worthily greet the July 26th anniversary.

Its collective, which totals more than 1,300 workers, will celebrate the 70th Anniversary of the Attack on the Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Céspedes Barracks with its goals fulfilled, which are aimed at achieving the efficiency and quality of care that the people deserve.

The graduates and technicians of one of its Departments, Physiotherapy, which has a committed guild that has earned the respect and admiration of patients not only from this territory, but also from the municipalities of Tercer Frente and Jiguaní in Granma, are working these days with their sights set on the satisfaction of their patients.

Greater efforts to salute July 26

In salute to July 26, this collective intends to maintain compliance with the Disciplinary Regulations, declaring itself free of unjustified absences and late arrivals, in addition to maintaining efficiency and quality in treatments, insisting on medical ethics and professionalism.

One of the commitments to celebrate the anniversary is to keep in check illegalities and corruption by making proper use of the resources provided, ensuring that they reach their final destination, in addition to maintaining a high level of political information for all the Department’s workers.

The Physiotherapy Department of the Orlando Pantoja Tamayo General Teaching Hospital also intends to celebrate the 70th Anniversary of the Attack on the Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Céspedes Barracks by having all its workers participate in all the activities organized by their union section and by paying their union dues one hundred percent.
