With the minimum necessary conditions in place, Contramaestre will begin the 2025-2026 school year on September 1st. During this new school year, both educational and extracurricular activities will take place with the participation of all stakeholders and agencies involved in the learning process, including families.
In the preparation phase, efforts are focused on distributing school materials throughout the area, according to the revised standards, and on selling school uniforms for different educational levels. Maricel Echevarría G, the municipality’s general director of education, clarified:
“The school materials for the second group of the third year of advanced education are being distributed, along with pencils and notebooks.”
“Our priorities are political and ideological work with our students and preventive work from the school level. We aspire to improve the learning process in all educational institutions at all levels, which requires the support of families during the new academic year.”
Despite the current challenges, ensuring quality education remains a priority in the region. This process involves not only educational institutions but also the collaborative work of families and the community, all in order to achieve an effective and inclusive process.
