Havana, July 31 (Prensa Latina) The Cuban people today commemorate Eusebio Leal, the eternal historian of this city, on the fifth anniversary of his passing. Prime Minister Manuel Marrero commemorated the date on the social network X and assured that the people will continue to remember him “in his walk through the streets of the city, in his work to save its history.”
For his part, the Secretary of Organization of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, Roberto Morales, stated on occasions, as we see today, that “Eusebio is as eternal as the Havana he loved so much.” The loss of Eusebio Leal was a severe blow to the nation.
Cuba lost not only a magnificent historian, but also a tireless fighter and savior of our traditions and heritage. Let us honor his wonderful life, which was too brief for those who loved him for his work and for himself.
