The National Revolutionary Police (PNR) of the municipality of Contramaestre continues to intensify its work against criminal acts that affect the population in this territory.
Thanks to this sustained and intense work of the PNR, many neighbors of the demarcation of Pueblo Nuevo recovered a large part of the goods stolen from their homes, after eight criminal acts were solved.
The locals consider that even though there are still goods to be recovered, the work of the police has been important for many of the neighbors to recover stolen belongings. On the other hand, they recognize the effectiveness of the police work with the inclusion of the canine brigade.
One of the officers present in the investigation expressed that “we have worked with rigor and greater depth in the investigations, in view of the increase in criminal acts; and he underlined the importance of the cooperation of the neighbors with useful information to discover the criminals and recover part of the stolen goods…”.
The joint PNR-community work resulted in the location and arrest of the citizens involved in these acts and the consequent restitution of the stolen goods to the victims .
The public act in the community of Pueblo Nuevo attended by the authorities of the demarcation and the National Revolutionary Police of Contramaestre was delivered by the Ministry of the Interior officials numerous resources that only a few hours before had been stolen from the houses.
The neighbors express their gratitude to the PNR of Contramaestre for the benefit of the community and the tranquility of the citizens, at the same time that they exhort the population that when criminal acts like the ones that occupy everyone today occur, there are that denunciations formulated today are recovering goods that practically were lost.
The reporting officer recognizes the participation of the community, without which an effective work of the police would not have been possible. And that is what we need the support of the people.
