The joy returns to the schools

As the current season connected to the “summer mood” is about to end, joy begins to reappear in each school and in different generations of families in Contramaestre, facing the beginning of school 2024- 2025.

Despite the daily challenges, Maria Carla, 5 years old, is very happy at home these days, as she tries on her school uniform over and over again and looks in the mirror with the hairstyle she will wear this September 2, to attend her first day of school.

For his part, José Alejandro, a junior high school student, is getting ready to graduate ninth grade, while talking about his goals to opt for a middle-level trade that will guarantee him immediate employment as an automotive mechanic.

The attitude of Olga Beatriz, who will continue her studies in Pre-University Education with the dream of becoming a journalist, for which she will strive three consecutive years to complete her baccalaureate and ensure her professional future, is also comforting.

With well-defined intentions, each generation will go to the classroom on September 2 with their illusions at a high cost to strengthen their knowledge and prepare themselves as good men and women, facing a challenging economic scenario.

For this school year, the humanist essence of Cuban pedagogy will be consolidated in each educational institution of Contramaestre; ethical, aesthetic and patriotic values will be emphasized once again and priority will be given to the inclusive process of students to develop their personalities.

The systematic preparation and improvement of the teaching staff is an indispensable requirement for the teaching-learning process to be strengthened in each school.

This September 2, the celebration of knowledge will resound throughout Contramaestre, where the pedagogical work will continue to instruct children, adolescents and young people, who these days from home show in their faces the joy of returning to the classroom to cultivate knowledge and preserve the historical and cultural roots of the nation.
