With the presence of the first Secretary of the Party in Contramaestre, the plenary session of the Municipal Committee of that political organization in this territory of Santiago de Cuba was held.
The main topic of the analysis of the Committee members was the recovery of sugar cane production, a debate for which workers of this Contramaestrian sector were invited.
In the exchange, the issue of the cadre policy was reiterated as a matter that defines the efficient work of the structures at the base, the growth of the militancy and the attention to the youth.
It was pointed out the need for the issue to be permanently checked in the harvest commissions and the production assemblies, besides the periodical realization of the emulative checks.
The Municipal Committee of the Party in Contramaestre also indicated the need to pay more attention to the preparation of soils, to fight relentlessly against invasive plants, to develop cultural works with popular support and to take measures for the care and protection of sugar cane fields.
The recovery of the sugar cane sector is a strategic issue for the national economy and in Contramaestre the increase of areas and a better attention to the crop are not renounced, as active elements of this priority.\
