This September 2 in Baire, as in all of Cuba, the 2024-2025 school year began. In a political and cultural act, the 18 educational centers of this district received 2,562 students of all the teachings, including adult education.
Alexis Camejo Cedeño, representative of the Education sector in the Baire demarcation, assures that in the new school term the teaching coverage has been completed in its totality, with a number of 366 teachers, among them new graduates from the teacher training schools and the university. Regarding the material base for study, the director specified that the necessary materials are available and the arrival of the bibliography corresponding to the third improvement of teaching for the selected grades is expected.
Among the projections of the demarcation of Baire for the recently initiated teaching stage, they highlight the correct implementation of all the forms of work of the third improvement of general education in the country, as well as the maintenance of the condition of vanguard in education at the level of municipality and the political-ideological preparation of students and teachers.
The new 2024-2025 school year will take place in the midst of a complex economic scenario; however, the town of Baire has the minimum conditions necessary to successfully develop the teaching activities of this new school stage. In the words of Alexis Camejo Cedeño, the town of Baire is prepared to develop a teaching stage with satisfactory results, thanks to the interest of the students and the preparation of the educators.
