In a few days the Association of Combatants of the Cuban Revolution, ACRC, in Contramaestre will hold its 6th Municipal Conference to evaluate its work in the last five years and to project its future work.
On this subject, today we talked with Rigoberto Romero Tabares, who holds the position of Secretary of Military Patriotic and Internationalist Patriotic Work of this association in our municipality:
“On May 18, the Sixth Conference of the ACRC will be held here in Contramaestre. This conference will be held at the Party’s theater, starting at 8 o’clock in the morning. There will be an analysis of the work carried out by the association during the last five years.
What aspects are included in this analysis?
“There we will have the possibility of analyzing the cases that have been presented to us in the organizational aspect, both in the grassroots organizations and in the working groups of the municipal management. We will analyze what is related to the military and internationalist patriotic work and what is related to the sport shooting, which is currently called to be one of the fundamental tasks of the combatants’ association”.
Could you tell us in advance what are the perspectives that this conference will consider?
Among the perspectives is to continue working on the growth of the association’s membership; to continue working on the strengthening of the base associations with the directorates that are being strengthened to carry out a better work; the strengthening of the work with the schools, where the patriotic work is developed. There are the circles of patriotic-military interest, there is the place of honor.
What is the final result expected from this 6th conference?
