Young people in Contramaestre facing new challenges

The main objective of the strategy that the Young Communist League, UJC, is currently socializing in every municipality of the country is that young people take their vanguard role in the fulfillment of the urgent missions that the Homeland needs in the midst of great challenges.

The member of the National Committee of the UJC, Daimé Díaz Arnay, arrived in Contramaestre to explain the six work fronts where tasks related to the economic-productive work, the defense of the homeland, as well as the educational and social impact ones stand out.

Accompanied by Ania Poblador Serguera, Member of the Executive Bureau of the Provincial Committee of the Party in Santiago de Cuba and Yoelvis Suarez Zapata, First Secretary of the Party in the territory, the youth leader emphasized that the most important thing is that young people are able to put into practice these principles in the Base Committee and in the environment where they work as students or workers.

The growth to the ranks of the organization, the protagonism of young people in the different sectors of society, social indisciplines, among others, were issues presented by Susana Muñoz Sánchez, First Secretary of the UJC Municipal Committee in Contramaestre.

The meeting was also chaired by Vilma Larrea Oliva, member of the Main Bureau of the Union of Young Communists and Manuel Rodríguez Alfaro, President of the Municipal Assembly of People’s Power, and was attended by activists from various sectors who explained how they assume the fulfillment of priorities in productive, educational, health, cultural and service centers. Outstanding experiences in social communication through traditional channels and digital platforms were also presented.
