Mayito: a private transporter in solidarity with his people

Mario Tassé Fajardo, is one of those men from the town of Maffo who with his savings bought an electric tricycle to help transport merchandise free of charge from the stores that collect foreign currency to any warehouse in his area that requires his presence.

Mayito, as we all affectionately call him, even though he does not have the Medal of Merit for transporting goods, the experiences he has gained are incomparable to the satisfaction he gets from serving his fellow men.

The Popular Council of Maffo, opened the doors for him to work as a driver of an electric transport, which travels through the streets of Contramaestre.

For this man of the people, the love and tenderness of his heart are essential attributes to feel good, because helping humanity every day makes him proud.

Basic necessities such as oil, detergent and personal hygiene products, preferably, are transported by Mayito, who always has a word of encouragement, an expression of affection, a smile, a hug for his people.

But this fellow countryman of the “old guard” in student stage, not only transports goods on his electric tricycle, because to pick up residents of his native Maffo, also overflows his humility and human sense.

As a public servant par excellence, Mayito introduces himself as a man who offers solutions to his people in very difficult times, where local transportation is a serious problem.

Satisfied with the service he provides in his private vehicle, is Mario Tassé Fajardo, a man of great heart and principles, whom his Maffo congratulates today on the occasion of Transport Workers’ Day for the usefulness of his virtue.
