Diaz-Canel appreciates solidarity with Cuba against the US blockade

Havana, Jul 31 (ACN) Miguel Díaz-Canel, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and President of the Republic, thanked the solidarity of friends of the world, this Sunday, in the caravans against the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States on the island more than 60 years ago.

On Twitter, the president said he was proud of this initiative that is also carried out in defense of the work of social justice of the Revolution.

Through the same social network, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, Minister of Foreign Affairs, shared images of the actions carried out by nationals and those close to the Caribbean nation in denunciation of the continuous aggression of imperialism.

With everyone the victory is certainty and impulse to creatively resist the blockade, declared the Cuban Foreign Minister.

As reported by the Foreign Ministry in a tweet, solidarity actions were reported on Sunday from the cities of Ottawa and Torento in Canada; in Miami, United States; in Lanús, Argentina; in Santa Cruz, Bolivia; in Galicia, Spain; in Bahamas, Panama and Germany.
