The Tabacuba Base Section, belonging to the Tobacco Branch in Contramaestre, a municipality in eastern Cuba, recently held its Balance Assembly of the National Association of Economists of Cuba, ANEC, during which they evaluated the work developed in the 2018-2023 stage, identifying its main strengths and weaknesses.
The member of ANEC in Tabacuba committed to updating the Cuban economic and social model of sustainable development, set from this moment on the work objectives for the new stage aimed primarily at greeting the celebration of the Ninth Congress of ANEC in July 2024.
Strengthening the economic, financial and accounting work of the company and the control actions to comply with the indications of Resolution 60/11 of the Office of the Comptroller General of the Republic on internal control, as well as contributing and enhancing the implementation of the Economic and Social Guidelines of the Revolution approved at the 8th Congress of the Communist Party of Cuba to achieve high levels of efficiency and effectiveness in business management, are among the work objectives.
Tabacuba in Contramaestre and its expansion
The Tabacuba Base Section in Contramaestre also adds to its objectives to continue promoting the prestige of the professionals integrated to the Association by spreading the scope of its social function and ensuring that it is carried out within the high levels of responsibility, suitability, professional competence and ethics, in addition to promoting professional improvement using all means, methods and feasible ways, as well as organizing and carrying out all kinds of counseling and training in economic, financial and accounting matters to the factors and workers of the entity in order to raise the economic culture.
To actively participate in the scientific events and Forum of Science and Technique that are projected of internal and territorial character, besides promoting and developing social, political, technical, productive and recreational activities in link with the factors of the center are inserted within the work objectives of the Tabacuba Section of Contramaestre for its new stage of work.
