Contramaestre moves on under the inspiration, vitality and strength of the new generations paving the way for a better future, showing their decision of supporting the Cuban revolutionary project which bring them peace, security and dignity.
An extensive program of activities since the beginning of the year kept children, adolescents and young people of the municipality of Contramaestre busy. The homage to the apostle with the Marti classrooms and the movement of explorers were distinctive of the Organization of José Martí Pioneers, OPJM, while the Union of Young Communists, UJC, consolidated the development of Youth Assets, especially in rural communities.

In addition, mobilizations of the youth for the planting and harvesting of food in productive areas such as Laguna Blanca and Ruta Martiana, as well as the development of cultural crusades and events led by art instructors were carried out, showing their vitality in hard work, too .
In order to celebrate the 61st anniversary of the UJC and the 62nd anniversary of the OPJM, a fruitful exchange also took place with the members of the Federation of High School Students, FEEM, who in their balance meetings at the base discussed topics of interest such as the continuity of studies and the defense of the homeland.
With a gala that counted with representatives of the local artistic talent, the young people of Contramaestre awaited the advent of the founding anniversaries of the organizations that bring them together, showing the vitality and strength of the new generations around the revolutionary process in Cuba.
