Mayitsi del Toro Fonseca, Víctor Manuel Montesino Rodríguez and José Ángel Portal Miranda are the three candidates to the Cuban Parliament, who will be submitted to the popular vote this March 26, when more than 77 thousand voters in the municipality of Contramaestre will exercise their right to vote.
In compliance with the National Electoral Council’s schedule of visits to places of economic and social interest and exchanges with the people, the candidates for the Cuban Parliament arrived this Friday at the central park of the Los Negros demarcation.
Positive spirit towards electing the Cuban Parliament
This was a meeting of revolutionary reaffirmation and emotions emanating from the art represented by students, workers and local factors that welcomed in this area of the Turquino Plan not only the candidates but also the highest authorities of the municipal Party and government.
After the welcome, the words of Víctor Manuel Montesino and José Ángel Portal Miranda generated the exchange with the attending locals.
Photographs, shows of support and patriotism, the dialogue with workers of the education, INDER, gastronomy, with tobacco growers and health professionals of this territory’s extended hours medical office were part of the work agenda.
Concluding the visit, they went to the Maffo-Moscú district, where the reception and exchange with the people in the House of Culture and Central Park of this District was equally emotional and direct between these representatives of the people in the Cuban Parliament and the residents; thus ending the tour of visits to different areas of Contramaestre.
