Manuel Rodríguez Alfaro, president of the Municipal Assembly of People’s Power of Contramaestre, summons the 161 delegates of the aforementioned State Body of this jurisdiction in eastern Cuba, to hold the twenty-second ordinary session corresponding to the seventeenth term of his mandate.
The plenary session is scheduled for July 31st at 9:00 a.m. at noon in the Municipal Party Headquarters Theater. A work plan for the day will be presented on the stage, containing eleven topics of interest and impact on the economic and social life of the territory.
The delegates, in addition to learning about the decisions adopted by the president of the Assembly and the status of compliance with the agreements reached in similar previous exchanges, will also be updated on the implementation of the actions being carried out in the town to support the banking sector’s ongoing process in Cuban society.
In the presence of the meeting, the Municipal Administration in Contramaestre will be responsible for reporting to the delegates of the Municipal Assembly on the attention given to the constituents’ concerns, arising from the accountability processes and the offices. The impact of the prevention and social assistance efforts carried out in the area will also be assessed.
As part of the actions contained in the government program, the Twenty-Second Ordinary Session of the Municipal Assembly of People’s Power of Contramaestre will assess the implementation of the Strategy to Achieve Food Sovereignty, Food and Nutrition Security, based on the information on this core issue revealed by the Permanent Commission on Agricultural and Industrial Work, chaired by Representative Mayitsis de L’Toro Fonseca.
The topic of the implementation of the government program to correct distortions and boost the economy will also be a special space for analysis and debate. To this end, the Temporary Commission in charge of this matter will report its results in the town.
Finally, the government meeting’s agenda includes the Municipal Administration Council’s report on budget execution at the close of the first half of the current year and the appropriateness of budget adjustments for the current fiscal year.
