The sales of school uniforms for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year will begin on August 1st at the various designated locations in the municipality of Contramaestre.
The uniforms will be sold through official school listings, explained Laura Rodríguez López, commercial director of the municipal Commerce and Gastronomy company. Preschool students will be guaranteed one of the two uniforms typically received by this initial grade, Rodríguez López said. The director also noted that for continuing fifth-grade students, 418 pioneers from the Casa Azul, La Cubana, El Estadium, América, and La Comercial schools will not receive their lower uniforms.
At the basic secondary level, priority will be given to students in seventh grade, with 137 boys affected by the availability of undergarments, specifically those who attend the Laguna Blanca market and the warehouses located in Guaninao, Los Negros, and La Venta. Secondary school students, meanwhile, will not receive school uniforms initially due to the existing shortage.
The distribution and marketing of school uniforms is a key issue in preparation for the upcoming school year. In the municipality of Contramaestre, this task will be carried out through a joint effort by the Municipal Commerce and Gastronomy Company and the local schools.
