The development of socio-emotional skills in elementary school students was Maura García Alfonso’s proposal at the second edition of the Forum for Innovation, held in the municipality of Contramaestre. In this meeting, the young woman from Contramaestre, Master in Pedagogical Guidance, obtained the category of outstanding.
The title of the paper presented is “Fostering social-emotional skills, key to success in students from third to sixth grade in the municipality of Contramaestre. This is a work of great importance, since it allows providing a personalized treatment to these skills, which are so important for the development of students nowadays, as well as for families and teachers”.
The educational package has several activities for each subject, easy to use for all educators. In addition, it can contribute to the quality of the teaching-learning process, which promotes the third improvement.
Educational development begins at an early age, so this proposal is of great importance and relevance”.
The application of innovative projects in the teaching-learning process is one of the most feasible ways to guarantee quality education. In this sense, the development of socioemotional skills occupies a prominent place, especially in elementary school students.
