The Young Communist League (UJC) and other youth organizations in the municipality of Contramaestre are holding different activities prior to May Day, International Workers’ Day. On this occasion, the commitment of its members lies in being protagonists of the celebrations in honor of this date.
Susana Muñoz Sánchez, first secretary of the UJC in the municipality, commented that they intend to develop the board meeting of the Federation of High School Students (FEEM) at the municipal level, as well as the participation of 15 pioneers in the Provincial Martiano Seminar, which will take place in Baraguá.
Muñoz Sánchez also stressed the enthusiasm of the youth for the activities organized in the municipality, especially those of a political and multitudinous nature. In this sense, the Union of Communist Youth in Contramaestre will occupy a prominent place in the coming May Day, under the maxim that For Cuba, together we create.
